Brimstone Season

From my new range of mini canvases, Brimstone Season is inspired by the many dog walks I have taken in the Cotswolds, specifically in the village of Shilton and the fields behind the Holy Rood Church. Painted in my favourite colours, this joyful picture is full of sunny blooms, brimstone butterflies and the harmony of nature.

It is part of a series of mini canvases which I have painted in my slightly impressionistic style, full of splatters to give it that little bit of sparkle. This giclee image its printed onto 190 gsm Bockingford English water colour paper, and is taken from my original canvas painting.
